Hi, I'm Ricardo, a co-creator (with Patrícia) of HWG - Here We Go travel channel on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X.

I'm an engineer and sportsman. I was born and raised in Covilhã, Portugal (a breathtaking mountain city in one of the oldest countries in the world, with a fascinating history and people). I’ve been living in Dubai since 2014, an epic city in UAE - United Arab Emirates.

Traveling has been part of my life since childhood, and by Jan 2025, I feel blessed to have visited 73 countries - without being a pro-YouTube traveler AHAHA

This year, I finally launched my long-planned travel channel, but with a twist! As a tech lover, I’ll break with the “normal” way of making travel channels and I’ll use AI to enhance our followers' experience through immersive visuals (like a virtual flight from the ground to the top of the Burj Khalifa😉). Plus, Orbitron, it's the name of our HWG AI Mascot, will be with us to provide better insights, information, and tips about all places along the way 😉

Hey there! I'm Patrícia, a travel lover and an excited explorer of the World! 🌍

With a background in Arts and Tourism, I had the incredible opportunity to work and manage a fabulous palace in the heart of Portugal, welcoming travelers from all over the world and sharing the rich history and culture of my country. It was the kind of experience that fulfilled my heart and love for culture, history, and tourism behind a nation.

I was born in Castelo Branco, Portugal, a National Heritage city, filled with breathtaking landscapes, historical monuments, and artistic charm. I literally grew up surrounded by inspiration. From majestic rivers to the mountains embracing the stunning Tejo International Natural Park, my hometown and its region are pure magic!

Now, living in Dubai, UAE, I've completely fallen in love with this place and country of 7 Emirates… Living here is another inspiring reason to embrace and start this exciting Travel Channel project with Ricardo - HWG - Here We Go! 🚀

How did the HWG project start?

We are always travelling!

Whenever an opportunity of time arises between our chores and responsibilities, we immediately go discover another country / city / place and its culture. The idea of creating a travel channel has been on our minds for a looong time... and as we step into 2025, with a great travel plan perspective for this year, we said to each other: "Enough! We have to!". We just push ourselves to do it and loving our innovative ideas and disruptive way of creating travel content, here we are! With a passion for travel and a fresh perspective on how travel content is made, we couldn't be more excited to launch HWH - Here We Go travel channel.

And there is more...

Across our social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X), we will be regularly sharing our travel experiences worldwide. But that's not all! As we are often travelling between our home country and the country where we live, we will give very often highlights of Portugal, and insights into the city where we live and spend most of our time, Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates - UAE.

Why we will also focus on that?

Especially over the years of living in Dubai, we've welcomed countless family, friends, and even strangers who reached out to us after seeing our posts. The UAE, especially Dubai and Abu Dhabi, has so much to offer and far beyond the crowded tourist spots. There are breathtaking hidden gems that will leave anyone in awe.

After witnessing so many unforgettable moments and helping so many people create lasting memories, we thought: why not take this further too and share this incredible experience with the world? Why not even encourage and help more people experience these unforgettable moments?

So, the plan is to show our adventures visiting new countries and cities all over the world, but we will also massively help our followers and fans to visit and have dream trips in Portugal and UAE! We are sure this will leave us 100% overjoyed! As traveller lovers, there is nothing as graceful as seeing people's happiness, bright eyes and smiles from ear to ear after a dream trip! What a good energy that is always so rewarding and contagious for us!

So, HWG - Here Ge Go is now a reality! Here we are showing our trips and, here to help with our travel hearts anyone looking to explore

Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and all 7 Emirates of UAE, and
our superb Lisbon, Porto, Algarve, and all of Portugal from north to south including the wonderful Portuguese islands - Açores and Madeira (where our CR7 - Cristiano Ronaldo born 😉).
